Circa 1840, poplar secondary, the whole with high grade figured mahogany veneers, top with two hinged panels with loper supports, the interior with later maroon velvet surface the case with one convex drawer with divided interior over two recessed graduated drawers with star inlaid wood pulls flanked by fully turned columns, tapered standard on four bold scrolled feet with casters.
