Circa 1840, rectangular top with front rounded corners, swivel top with storage compartment, finished mahogany surface, banded and raised panel apron, turned flame mahogany standard on four acanthus carved legs terminating in paw feet with casters.

From the Collection of Winslow Goins, Rocky Mount, North Carolina Shrinkage cracks to top surfaces; veneer chips to edge; break and repair to underside of standard; legs with later metal bracing; sun fading and haziness to the finish on the apron and left side.
