Samuel Barnes (1857-1926), Havre de Grace, Maryland. Sam Barnes was a fisherman, guide, and market hunter who produced decoys for his own hunting needs. This appears to be an early example of his work. It has fore and aft rigging intact. All of his decoys exhibit wing and feather patterns.
