Ink and colors on paper, large horizontal format, one with two female samurai figures with attendant under pine trees and Mt. Fuji looming in the background, the other with samurai and attendant under a pine tree, both signed to lower left side "Setsudo" with two red seals, Setsudo was a painter active during the 1880s in Kyoto, Japan, both paintings are framed identically without a covering.

Multiple puncture holes around the edges; some creases; some cracking to paper with losses; a large repair to right hand side of one painting; toning to paper.
