The pintail by Avery Tillet, Kitty Hawk, NC, canvas over wire body, with tacked sides, painted in white, red, and gray, with carved initials AT in the underside (6 x 18 1/2 x 7 in.) (later paint, rusting to tacks, wear to canvas in some areas); the Blue Bill appears unsigned, likely Pratt Company, hollow underside and original paint (15 1/4 x 7 1/4 x 6 3/4 in.) (scattered nicks, loss to side and bill, some hairlines).
