Qing dynasty (1644-1912), light golden ground silk with silk embroidery, towards top is a roundel of two cranes around a large peony blossom framed by four corners of fruit and flora, a large area of empty space below flows down to an exquisite peacock perched on a craggy rock surrounded by branches with delicate blossoms, framed, not examined outside of the frame.
Sight size 56 3/4 x 20 1/2 in.; Framed dimensions 59 x 23 in.
Some areas of snags to silk and thinning, especially along the sides; some light staining to areas.
