19th century, porcelain hand painted with blue, iron red, pink, and gilt enamels, center of dish decorated with a plant of aubergine and flowers, border surrounds the edges of the dish, reverse with motifs in blue around the sides, five kiln spur marks to underside over an apocryphal six character Chenghua mark.
