Circa 1890, relief carved crest rail and arms with central portrait and flowering vine, ornately carved and pierced back splats with rooster heads, upholstered slip seat, turned and acanthus carved stiles, relief carved and shaped seat rail on ring turned legs.

Later upholstery with staining; old warm patina; crest rail reset; scuffs to the feet.
