Eldon Willis (1908-1981) and Elmer Salter (1902-1964), Stacy, North Carolina. This redhead decoy was made in the 1940s for Harvey Hamilton. Harvey and Henry Murphy shared a hunting camp near Harkers Island and shot mostly bufflehead, redhead, and scaup. This decoy was used at that camp and exhibits a Davis style ballast weight.
