Marvin Lemay Midgett (1884-1971), Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina. Marvin was born in Rodanthe and later served at the Kill Devil Hills Coast Guard Station. It was there that he met Manie Haywood. They carved some of the finest canvas over wire decoys to ever come from North Carolina. This drake widgeon is as good as it gets. The paint is crisp and original.
