Pat O'Neal (1887-1972), Churches Island, North Carolina. Pat O' Neal was an accomplished boat builder and that craftsmanship really shows up in his stylish decoys. This particular decoy was hunted at the Monkey Island Club and was later displayed inside the club. It is rare and would make a valuable addition to any southern decoy collection. This exact decoy is published on page 145 of "Gunnin' Birds" by Kroghie Andresen.
