Ammie Paul (1872-1952), Davis, North Carolina. Ammie served as the first caretaker of the Carteret Gun and Rod Club from 1903 to 1905. He is Carteret County`s second oldest known decoy maker. His decoys are rare and highly collectible. Black ducks are amongst the rarest. This decoy is exceptional and extremely important.
