After studying Art and Architecture at Yale, he returned home to Colombo where he developed his career as a painter tied together with his desire to bring awareness to the environmental issues affecting the land in Sri Lanka. His paintings feature vivid colors to reflect the country’s native flora and fauna and document its rapidly depleting rainforests and landscapes. His works have been exhibited internationally in both solo and group shows.
