Luther Dudley Burrus, Sr. (1884-1962), Hatteras, North Carolina. Burrus grew up in the Hatteras area and had a long career with the Coast Guard. He served as a hunting guide at the prestigious Gooseville Gun Club in the 1930s-40s. The pintail decoy bears his brand LB and original flocked paint.
