A Chinese Export Porcelain Rose Mandarin Shell Dish

Circa 1820, porcelain hand painted in polychrome enamels with a central scene of noble figures gathered on a garden terrace of a well appointed house, surrounding the scene is a border with double fish alternating with auspicious treasure motifs.

Hairline crack; small rim chip; some crackle to underside of foot.
