Circa 1820, a porcelain oval serving platter hand painted in polychrome enamels and gilt with a border of alternating lotus blossom and floral basket vignettes, each framed with a blue key border against a dark orange ground, a large central scene of a Mandarin court audience with noble ladies and gentlemen in a lush exterior setting, unglazed underside.
