Ellie Saunders (1884-1969), Poplar Brach, North Carolina. Ellie and his father market hunted from 1900 until it was outlawed in 1918. He then became a guide at the Currituck Shooting Club and worked there for many years. His canvas decoys have very finely carved heads and he offered more paint detail than most other makers.
