Lister Cartwright (1918-1992), Knotts Island, North Carolina. The Lister Cartwright coots are some of the most significant coot decoys to come from Back Bay and the Carolinas. The rough chopped bodies with the nail and canvas bills make them very collectible. This decoy has tremendous folk art appeal.
