Ira Hudson (1876-1949), Chincoteague, Virginia. Ira could barely read but he became one of the most important makers of Americana folk art. This is a stunning goose. The beautifully carved head sits upon a prominent neck shelf. It is a wonderful example of Ira Hudson`s work.
