Alvin Harris (1904-1975), Atlantic, North Carolina. Alvin Harris was born on Portsmouth Island and it was there that he learned to hunt, fish, dig oysters, and ride horses. He is widely regarded as Carteret County's second best decoy maker only bested by Mitchell Fulcher. This goose is in wonderful condition. The well carved head sits on a mostly cork body.
