Late Edo period, 19th century, a bronze dragon in a serpentine seated position encircling a bronze pearl that he clutches with his three claws, the expressive dragon lifts his head up with open mouth showing his teeth and tongue, long whiskers and horns aim back over his body, comes together with a later stand.

9 3/4 x 13 x 7 1/4 in.

Break with repair to one whisker; general surface wear consistent with age.
