Circa 1840, mahogany veneer, white pine secondary, ogee molded tester, bold tapered octagonal posts with ogee caps, raised panel head-board, scrolled footboard, repeating ogee cap feet; conforming scrolled rails with applied rope-twist edge; with bolts.

DOA 107 x 70.5 x 87 in.; height to top of post (without tester) 100 in.; floor to bottom of rail 16.5 in.; interior side-to-side rails 59 in.

Some veneer chips; remnant of fabric lining to tester (now lacking lining); old gouges to posts; attractive warm dark patina (likely original).
