Circa 1980, patinated bronze figure of a standing female nude, inscribed signature "A.C. / Yael Shalev" in the casting; included is a small catalogue raisonné and biographical text of her work, along with a hand-written letter of authentication on the artist's letterhead, and a photo of the artist in front of one of her larger bronze sculptures.

Born in Nahalal, Yael Shalev is an Isreali figural sculptress who lives and works in Tel Aviv. She studied under Ashkenazi and Michael Gross, and later with Yacov Epstein at the Bat-Yam Institute of Plastic Arts. Yael is a member of the Israel Painters & Sculptors Association. Figures of women are her main oeuvre, symbolizing beauty and "inner completeness, devoid of any outer aggression."
