19th century, semi-tall headboard with two sliding carved panel cabinet doors over three recessed panels with stay inlay, conforming carved footboard reading "Anno Domini 1627A 18 August", with hook rails.

Some shrinkage to the headboard visible to the upper right corner of inlaid panel/stile; small molding loss near lower center of headboard; insect damage to interior of footboard; break and repair to one rail post on footboard; later L brackets to base of headboard; shrinkage cracks to footboard.
