Painted wood, the first, late 19th century, numbered "8" and naming eight oarsmen (12.5 ft.) (scuffs and expected marks from use; paint somewhat faded, but perfectly legible; the metal sheath covering the blade's end is loose; good condition); the second, numbered "10" and marked "E. Ayling & Sons" is titled and dated "Trinity Ball 3rd Lent Boat 1973," naming oarsmen on its painted blade (12 ft.) (marks from use and later handling; overall very good condition).
