Second half 20th century, black lacquered ground with carved and painted noble figures in a palace courtyard surrounded by a stylized dragon border, below the central scene are archaic bronzes, the reverse is carved and painted with egrets in a lush water landscape with willow trees and large lotus blossom plants, a flora and fauna border surrounds the scene, brass cap feet.
