Mark of John Vernon, circa 1788, including an oval form teapot with domed cover and urn form finial (7 1/2 in.), a sugar urn, and a creamer; each with period engraved shield form cartouche between drapery swags and laurel wreaths, period monogram "MAU" above the date "June 21st, 1788." Included with the lot is a later silverplate sugar urn, unmarked, with matching engraving.
