Mid-20th century, in the style of the Rinpa school using the tarashikomi technique giving the flora a watercolor feel, tall blooming red and white flowers against a gold leaf style background, signed to lower corner together with a red artist seal, gold brocade border sounds each painting and framed by a black lacquered wood frame, there is traditional patterned fabric to the reverse of both an a label that reads "Hand made and painted in Kyoto Japan."
