Late 19th century, both marked to handles, the first in a black lacquer finished wood shaft with metal tip, the round gold filled knob with geometric floral designs around an engraved cartouche "G H Miller / Woonsocket, RI / '91"; the second with mahogany shaft, the angled gold filled handle with scrolling motifs around a diamond form cartouche monogrammed "CT."
