Circa 1890s, ratchet-wound, the brass cylinder with "12 Airs"; single comb with 62 teeth, Start/Stop and Change/Repeat levers; painted wooden case with musical inlay on the lid and faux marquetry on the front, brass handles to sides, the ebonized interior having tune list on the inside lid, above which is a distributor's stamp naming J. H. Ebblewhite of London.

11-3/4 x 26 x 14 in.

Currently in working order; the smallest tooth lacking tip; the case seams are separating at the rear with the whole unit needing a general tightening; the finish with scuffs and dings from use.
