Bennie Jerome Ansell (1896-1958) Knotts Island, North Carolina. Bennie was born and raised on Knotts Island and worked at the Flyway Club for over thirty years. According to family members, he made a sinkbox blind that ended up at the Smithsonian Museum. This exact decoy is published on page 87 of Gunnin' Birds by Kroghie Andresen.
