Brown Etheridge (1900-1963), Manteo, North Carolina. Brown made many decoys for the Bodie Island Club and they were hunted very hard and very few survived. This decoy saw little use as it spent most of its life on the mantel of granddaughter Beth Etheridge. This exact decoy is published on page 321 of Gunnin' Birds by Kroghie Andresen.
