Ike Merrell Gallop (1878-1952), Halls Harbor, North Carolina. Ike was a very successful market hunter. His decoys reflect the classic, southern Currituck Sound style. This bird was made before the turn of the century and is branded IMG which indicates it was from his market hunting rig.
