Circa 1900, a classical Ming style couch with wonderful wood grain, the tiered back is inset with three signed painted porcelain plaques and two fan shaped porcelain plaques in the armrests, the front apron is carved with pairs of auspicious peaches, raised on four straight legs that end in ruyi feet, comes together with a silk brocade dragon and phoenix seat cover.

Some looseness to rear board where it joins to the arm rails; crack and repair to left side of front left leg; crack and repair to left side of left rear leg; later metal braces to underside.
