Late 19th century, two identical embroidery panels sewn together at center to create a long vertical panel, possibly from former court robe, decorated with five clawed dragons in metallic gold thread facing sideways clutching a flaming pearl amid colorful clouds, bats, and treasure motifs above swirling waves with more treasure motifs such as
ruyi specter, double coins, among others, all embroidered onto a dark blue silk linen ground, with black and green silk border and backed with dark blue cotton silk fabric.
