A Chinese Export Porcelain Dutch Bont Serving Bowl with Cover

18th century, porcelain bowl and cover originally painted and fired with underglaze blue decoration in China, then exported to the Netherlands where the bowl and cover were over-decorated with European style florals in vivid iron-red, cobalt blue, white, and gilt enamels, this style of export porcelain is often referred to as Dutch or Amsterdam Bont.

HOA 9 in., 9 3/4 in. diameter

Some touches of repainting to cover and bowl; black specks to interior.
