A Burmese Bronze Rain Drum

18th or 19th century, a large bronze drum created with many fine details, the top has a center star design with concentric circular bands of decoration radiating from the center to edges, four groups of stacked frogs on the cardinal directions of the top, the base of the drum is elegantly tapered with loop handles flanking and decorated on the bottom sides with the tree of life and elephants, hollow to interior.

Area at foot of base that has been pushed in with some loss; some minor pushes around the base; some overall wear consistent with age and use.
