Circa 1850, porcelain soup tureen with braided handles flanking the side, hand painted with blue band encircling the rim with gilt coin border, leaf and vine pattern encircles the foot, same decoration is repeated on the underplate and also on the cover, cover is surmounted by a gilt floral head finial in blue and gilt, both the tureen cover and the underplate have initials in iron red enamel.
HOA 12 1/2 in., diameter 16 1/2 in.
