Marbled lapis lazuli carved into an energetic and mythical lion with single curling horn to its head, open mouth, mane and long curls all over body and tail, with a small baby lion hanging onto back of body near hind leg, secured into a carved wooden base.

Some chips with loss to lower mouth area; a break with loss to baby lion's leg towards back of sculpture.
