Early to late 19th century, the first a cottage scene with chickens, titled "Hitcham, Near Taplow," by Ellen Annie Bowler (d.1891), signed and dated lower right, interior matting with brief artist biography and old exhibition placard (sight size 6 5/8 x 9 5/8 in., mat size 12 1/2 15 3/8 in.); the second of an outdoor wedding scene, watercolor and ink on paper, by Gertrude Angela Kingston (1862-1937), depicting an outdoor wedding scene, signed monogram to lower right, with artist biography mounted to interior mat (sight size 8 x 6 3/4 in., mat dimensions 13 5/8 x 12 3/8 in.); the third a drawing of a cottage, pencil and white heightening on paper, signed J. B. B. to lower right, the title "Rustic Country Life" inscribed to mat, the drawing verso dated Aug 26, 1851 (sight size 7 x 10 1/2 in.; mat size 12 1/4 x 15 1/2 in.); two works depicting a pastoral scene, both ink wash on paper, both appear unsigned (sight size 6 3/8 x 8 1/4 in.; mat size 11 1/4 x 13 in.); the sixth of a riverside view of a church, pencil with watercolor and gouache, appears unsigned (sight size 6 x 9 1/8 in.; mat size 11 1/4 x 14 1/4 in.); the seventh a view of Dieppe, France by Mary Hilton Burrup, pen and ink on two sketchbook leaves, the recto singed and dated Dieppe / July 30th 1878?, the verso with inscriptions (sight size 4 1/4 x 8 in.; mat size 9 x 13 1/4 in.); the eighth a hillside view of Greenwich Park, circa 1880, watercolor on paper, inscribed to recto, appears unsigned. (sight size 6 3/4 x 10 in.; mat size 15 1/4 x 11 7/8 in.); the ninth a view of an country estate by Henry Brabazon Urmston (1828-1869), signed and dated 1863 to lower right (sight size 6 3/8 x 9 3/8 in.; mat size 12 1/4 x 15 in.); the tenth a study of a rocky shoreline, watercolor with pencil on paper, unsigned, (sight size 4 1/4 x 7 1/8 in.; mat size 9 1/4 x 11 7/8 in.).

Scattered toning and some foxing to sheet and matting; some with adhesive staining.
