Early 20th century, a pair of painted iron Japanese shishi lions in an Art Deco style, seated regally facing forward with mouths open, stylized curls to the mane and tail, raised visible backbone, front legs in abstract rounded inverted curve, hollow to interior with holes to bottom of each, no visible signatures or marks.
