The first an antique .875 Russian silver soap box, Cyrillic mark possibly that of Matvyeo Nikiforov, 1880 assay mark, Moscow, 84 zolotniki, with floral and linear pattern border designs (1 7/8 x 2 1.2 x 3 3/4 in.); the second an Italian .800 silver cigarette case, silversmith number 116, Firenze province, 1944-1966, with engraved floral and foliate designs to case (1/4 x 3 x 3 7/8 in.). Both without monograms.
