American Brilliant Period Cut Glass Punch Bowl, Ladle and Eight Cups

Circa 1860, two part form punch bowl with notched scalloped rim, deep wheel cut and polished pattern with vine and hobstar (15.25 x 12.25 in. diameter); a ladle with cut glass handle having air trap with silverplate mount marked "The J.D. Bergen Co." (15.25 in.); and eight handled cut glass cups with star cut foot (3.5 in.), unmarked.

The quality of Dorflinger, but unmarked.

Overall good age appropriate condition; the punch bow with small rim chips, chips to the base edges; fretting to the glass handle of the ladle where it rests on the punch bowl rim; small rim chips and base chips to the cups.
