Warm-toned gelatin silver print, with black borders, mounted, with photographer's "A Margaret Bourke-White Photograph" credit stamp to mount verso, from the project You Have Seen Their Faces (1937), additional pencil inscriptions to verso, matted and framed.

Frame verso with typed caption as follows: "Marion Junction, Alabama. 'No place to plant me a little garden when the white-boss says to plow the cotton in right up to my front door'".

Good estate condition; some silvering; slight toning/few faint spots and some minute edge nicks; some wear/spot of corner loss to mount.
