Carved and polished white and gray marble, incised signature and dated 1987, abstract biomorphic design mounted on a cubic plinth.

Richard Wayne Hallier was born in Kansas, and attended Kansas City, KS Junior College and Ringling School of Art & Design from 1966-1969. After a successful fifteen year career in the graphic and multimedia design industry, Richard devoted his time to sculpting. He produced over 70 life size figurative bronzes, many abstract sculptures, and completed both public and private commissions.
He exhibited regionally and nationally and became included in many corporate collections and museums: NCNB corporate collections, Wachovia Bank, R.J. Reynolds, Northern Telecom, Hickory NC Museum of Art, and many others.
