A bound Proximage & Prat French made spiral bound artist's sketch book of thirty-nine pages of heavy watercolor paper, twenty of the pages feature original drawings and sketches, the cover board is inscribed in pencil "Abbott 98-99;" the first seventeen pages feature figural sketches in colored chalk, several pages with "A" monogram, the verso of the seventeenth page with watercolor and ink drawing and "A" monogram; the eighteenth page dated Oct 16, 1998 and inscribed in ink ...yel Sun flowers Augt mums, small, / berries purple yellow roses greens / different shapes / Billy's wreath yellow / Greenfield sunny / Green river cemetery next to Danna / (Eliz Lee Grinnell) (the verso of sheet with ink sketch); the next nineteen sheets are blank, except for one with inscription in graphite reading 'Mason' Reno? M? / new records / (illegible) Peter M ?; the final two pages with abstract watercolor paintings, both with "A" monogram.

Note: Green River Cemetery is in Springs, East Hampton, New York and has become the last resting place for artists and writers since Jackson Pollock's internment there in 1956.
