Late 19th and early 20th century, includes a hanging scroll painting on silk of an egret surrounded by water grasses, signed with two characters to lower right and red artist's seal (DOA 27 x 7 1/2 in.) (some tears to top of brocade; some minor foxing; some light loss to pigments), and a painting on paper of a monkey, signed and with red artist seal (DOA 34 x 11 in.) (paper painting is completely removed from brocade mount; sections of painting are broken from one another; paper is very brittle; tears and creases; delicate to open; toning to paper).
