19th century, each with Mercury head guarantee mark indicating 1st standard (.950 silver content) and made in France for export, maker's mark of Prévost, Récipon & Cie., further marked "Mon Odiot Prévost & Cie" and numbered 4281, the shaped flange with reeded edge and shell motif, each with period armorial engraving of a knight's helmet with plumes above the motto "Sans Crainte" (Without Fear).

Each with some scratching; one plate with some denting to well in approximate 1/2 in. diameter; one plate with knife dent to well near edge; one plate with approximately seven small pinpoint dents to well and rim; one plate with three pinpoint dents to well; one plate with two very minor pinpoint dents to well; one plate with very minor pinpoint dent to rim; others with no apparent issues aside from the aforementioned scratching.
