Circa 1800, three-part form, the whole with black field, red lacquer and gilt highlights throughout, removable ogee cornice, upper cabinet with two hinged paneled doors, interior with three fitted linen drawers, the lower case with two over two flush drawers on shaped bracket feet.

Old paint with areas of wear and touch up; the cornice with chip to front left corner; slight warp to to cabinet doors; the left cabinet door with crack to the upper left corner; later pulls with drilled holes; upper cabinet missing one fitted drawer and with cut-out to the back panels (some parts to original back panels included-see photos); surface crazing to the old paint.
