Peggy Everett began her formal training under the tutelage of Russian portrait painters, Roman and Constantin Chatov, in Atlanta, Georgia. She continued her studies at the New York Studio School, Art Students League of New York, Art Students League of Denver and the Florence Academy of Fine Art in Italy.

After several years in the American West, Everett now lives and paints along the Georgia coast.
